iPhone Killers Wave Coming!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

It’s must be a strange feeling for Apple to be the target of this-killer, that-killer. iPod comes out and all companies around the world including Microsoft want to come out with iPod killer. Then iPhone came out, and Verizon, Microsoft, and Sprint launched their own iPhone killers and failed. Poor Microsoft now has to deal with iPod touch though to tell you the truth Zune 6.0 may have a good chance of killing iPod Tourch 1.0. Well, brace yourself for a wave of iPhone killers that are coming out later today. Verizon is planning multiple iPhone killers, and others will soon follow. But somebody needs to tell these guys that you don’t kill a product by imitating every feature of it. You become it if you take all its features and just change its color around!

Mac OS Leopard Is Out: Still has iPhone Compatibility Issues

Mac OS Leopard is finally out and the wait is finally over for the Apple nation. But Apple has failed to offer full iPhone compatibility with Leopard. Don’t get me wrong. iPhone will work with Mac OS Leopard, but the synchronization is a little bit iffy. For instance, Leopard notes do not synchronize with iPhone. Don’t let that keep you from buying the Leopard though as Apple like always will release a few patches to fix these issues. Stay tuned!

iPhone Limit Per Person Is Back!

iPhone

Are you one of those people who buy 400 iPhones and sell them for handsome profit on eBay? Well, if so, your days of iPhone business are over. Apple announced today that they are bringing back the 2 iPhone person limit back in order to allow all iPhone maniacs to get their hands on iPhone and maybe send one to their friends, but no more than that.
Also, you need to take out your credit card to purchase iPhone in a Mac store. As CNET indicates, Apple is banking on the fact that using credit cards will allow them to properly track how many iPhones were bought per credit card whereas with cash you can’t really figure who is buying how many. This is obviously good and bad for Apple. Turning down cash is not really a common practice as usually cash is accepted everywhere just like Visa. Apple is obviously trying to get iPhone on as many hands as possible to keep their viral marketing training moving forward. In addition, if I were Apple and wanted to crack down on the crackers, I would limit the number of iPhones they could get their hands on. Many of these people are cracking iPhones and selling them for $800 or more on eBay. So, this could work in Apple’s favor after all. I guess the only downside to this is the fact that I like so many other people was planning to buy 4 or 5 iPhones for my family and relatives for the holiday season, and now have to find a way to get around that!

Apple or at&t: Who is actually getting the better part of the deal?

at&t or Apple? Who is getting the better part of this apple&t partnership. Apple is obviously shoveling up money from these iPhones as so many people have failed to resist the temptation that the iPhoneness of Apple’s new product brings to the table. But what is at&t bringing to the table? To tell you the truth, I am surprised that iPhone has been as successful as it’s been in the past few months, and that is certainly not due to at&t but despite of at&t.

iPhone a Top Seller with at&t

InformationWeek had a nice article about the latest Strategy Analytics report on iPhone’s standing in the U.S. wireless market. But seemed surprising to some was the fact that RAZR V3 was the No. 1 overall phone in the U.S. Of course, we all know that Apple’s marketing machine will catch up to late adopters, and with the holidays upon us, iPhone will probably be one of the best sellers, if not the most selling item in the U.S. Read the rest of this entry »
