Belgium To Get iPhone 3G on July 11

According to Forbes, Mobistar is going to launch the new iPhone 3G in Belgium on July 11th. The 8 GB version will be going for 525 euros and the 16 GB is going 615 euros.
To be honest, that’s not cheap at all. If you are paying $1000 for a phone, then you might as well put a $100 on it and get a Macbook or maybe a couple hundreds to get a Macbook Air.
Nevertheless, Belgium is another one of those countries that Apple will be expanding to as a part of their world domination. I don’t live in Belgium so I can’t tell how excited people are about this launch. If you or anyone you know actually lives in Belgium, drop a line and tell us about the state of that market.
