YouTube and other video sites have truly changed the how-to business. So what do I mean by “how-to business?” I am talking about people who make a living off of teaching others what to do in certain situations and how to get things done. In fact, there is almost nothing you can’t learn by watching videos on YouTube. But sometimes, you just need that little tip on the go and don’t want to search through YouTube videos to find what you are looking for. That’s where How-To apps for iPhone come in. They teach you how to get things done on the go.

There are plenty of guide applications available for iPhone. There are so many that you can’t list them all here. But here are top 10 How-To apps that everyone can use:

Dude, Where Did I Park my car?

Not really talking about the movie (which I thought was so unfunny it turned funny in the end). I am talking about the coolest iPhone application for those of us who do not really have a sense of direction. I personally can’t find my car 95% of the time but now thanks to this cool iPhone application (G-Park), you can park you car, set the application, and then use it to get turn by turn direction to your car. I know. It sounds like a simple task to do but even Garmin touts their newest feature, “Where Am I” which is pretty much the same as what G-Park does. The difference? Garmin costs close to $500 and G-Park costs $0.99!

Apple To Crack Down On iPhone Unlockers!

If you are planning to buy the new 3G iPhone for the sake of hacking and unlocking it, you might want to rethink your strategy. As we reported earlier, iPhone 3G will not be sold online. The main reason for this change of strategy on Apple’s part is to make sure people activate their phones. In fact, Apple doesn’t even allow you to leave the store without buying your service. Now, sources are reporting that Apple will penalize people who do not activate their phones within 30 days of their purchase.

Does this all mean that you cannot unlock the new iPhones? Not really. It’s just that it will be much more expensive to do so now. But hey. If you can unlock the phone and sell it for profit (after you take out the penalty fees and …) then maybe it’s worth doing this.
