The latest iPhone application seems to be the most useful one. At least for me. I got a confession to make. I am partially color blind, which means I can’t tell the difference between Blue and Purple. Think about it. If you are a web designer and also colorĀ  blind, you have no future in the business. I have always used sampling features that come with Photoshop and other web applications to help me out. But now I am glad that iPhone now has an app that allows you to take a picture with your camera and sample the colors in the picture.

You can also play with the color wheel till your dead tired. ColorSutra is compatible with HEX, and RGB numbers, so you can put down the number and use the color in the future. It’s a very cool application that has been updated for full compatibility with the latest version of iPhone OS. Check it out!

  1. This is a truly innovative, powerful application that is worth its cost many times over. Like anything great, colorSutra has already spawned a number of immitators. But nothing beats this app’s ease of use and thought-out features.

  2. Well, there will always be imitators, and I don’t really mind that. But the original programmers need to be applauded for the cool app.
