Are You A “Sucka?”

Now that’s not a question you hear everyday, and I truly didn’t want to go there. But after seeing some nice dude selling a useless iPhone app for $999, then I just had to say it. The Am I rich application which is going for $999 on iTunes store is to remind the rich people that they are rich. It absolutely does nothing else. Do I expect people to fall for this latest lame tactic? Absolutely. If people can pay $1000 to get a piece of paper with the word “PS3″ on it (that actually happened on eBay), then they can pay for this junk too. There are only four reasons why anyone would fall for this:

  • You are filthy rich, but you have not worked a minute for your wealth. So you can afford to throw around money like it’s nothing.
  • You are a poor guy but trying to pretend hard that you are rich. Having a useless $999 app can help you do that.
  • You are an idiot who don’t know the difference between the moon and an Apple.
  • You are a sucker, thinking that buying this application is a long-term investment that will make you rich.

So don’t be a sucker. Ignore the “are you an idiot” app.
