With the release of iPhone SDK, everyone wants to figure out how to get their hands dirty with the new software development kit. iPhone Developer’s cookbook is a book that you may want to look at for iPhone recipes. In fact there is a great interview with the author of iPhone cookbook that you may want to check out.
The iPhone SDK allows you to go native with your programs for the Apple iPhone, and you are not limited only to Web apps only. However, the only downside that I see to the SDK so far is the native C programming, which could be hassle for a pure web developer. But I do agree with Erica that iPhone SDK will push the iPhone to the next level. It’s all about sales for Apple, and whether it’s the jailbreak Apps or the iPhone Apps that are making iPhone platform more popular, Apple shouldn’t care in my opinion. How Apple handles the jailbreakers is going to determine how crazy popular iPhone is going to get in the next few months.
