OK. I didn’t really wrote the article, but the good people at Times Magazine are making an interesting claim about iPhone 3G making it possible for mobile porn industry to take off. You maybe interested to know that 80% of people spent 80% of their time searching for porn on the Internet these days- the 80/80 rule.

I agree with the author that iPhone can and will be used for mobile porn in the future, and there is no question the industry is going to take advantage of technological advances to expand its reach. Come to think of it, the Porn industry is much more forward looking than let’s say the financial industry. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see Porn Apps and all that on the iPhone (though it will all depend on Apps). I don’t necessarily believe that this will hurt iPhone in anyway in the consumer market. But businesses will have to face major liabilities if child pornography is found on corporate iPhones. I am sure businesses are ready to battle that, but to have that possibility would be a headache for the IT guys.

But this story is a true testament to Apple’s amazing ability to reshape and revolutionize multipe industries with its digital devices such as iPod and iPhone. Most importantly, Apple Keeps doing it!
