Apple has been trying to get to as many markets as possible with their slick iPhone gadget. In fact, it is no surprise that demand outnumbers supply by a lot around the globe. Just because people live in the Middle East or in eastern Europe, it doesn’t mean they are not interested in owning an iPhone. Apple is challenged in many countries due to different business models that they have, but the plan is to enter a few more countries in 2008 to expand Apple’s global reach. Baltimore Sun has the list of countries that Apple is planning to enter in 2008.

I personally don’t believe that the unlocked iPhones have hurt Apple as much as they want us to believe. Without those unlocked iPhones, the adoption rate would have been much lower. But Apple will want to have those revenue-sharing deals. Who wouldn’t?
