05AT&T Locks Up iPhone Exclusivity Deal
0 comments
Unfortunately, it’s true folks. Apple is like a hot restricted free agent and everyone wants to lock up the top guy in the business. I guess it’s only fair that at&t got it as they are paying $300 in subsidies to Apple per phone. But iPhone will be locked up till 2010, which is a couple of years from now. But that is pretty much when most people’s two year’s contracts are up anyway. And by then we will have iPhone 4.0 if not a whole new product. I guess if you have already paid at&t, then you are not losing anything. Here for the story.
