Google Adwords Comes to iPhone
Google advertisers got the best news ever today when Google finally announced that iPhonians will be able to view their ads correctly. Google’s world domination knows no bound and iPhone users are exactly where Google is going to concentrate next.

Here is what Google had to say:
You may have seen ads running on the iPhone and G1 already. That’s because Google Search on these devices used to show desktop results pages modified for these phones. Recently, the Google mobile team launched new results pages formatted specifically for the iPhone. Now, advertisers will be able to display ads exclusively on these mobile devices, create campaigns for them, and get separate performance reporting. If you prefer not to show your desktop ads on these phones, you can opt out and show ads only on desktop and laptop computers.
I think this is a brilliant move by Google. Not only you can use the existing mobile ad platform to push your ads on all mobile devices, you can now show desktop PC ads on G1 and Apple phones. That’s going to bring Google lots of money but I am not sure how the conversion would be. My gut tells me that the conversion will not be that great, but we shall see.
