iPad Pro Concept, The End of Google Voice?
0Google Voice has been a quite useful tool for many of us over the years. But its days are numbered. There have been rumors about Google wanting to shut down the service in the past. Those very rumors are gaining momentum again. According to 9 to 5 Google, Google will shut down Google Voice very soon. Fear not as Google will be integrating its features into Google+ Hangouts.
The VoIP capability will be added to the Hangouts app for iOS and Android. That means users will be able to make phone calls from their Google number. There is no guarantee that wireless carriers and Apple will be OK with this. You can expect Google to spin this as an evolutionary step for Google Voice, so unlike Google Reader, Google Voice and some of its features will live on through Google+.
We have heard all kinds of rumors about a larger iPad in the past few weeks. The latest one from a few days back suggested that Apple was simply not ready to go ahead with the project. That has not kept designers from imagining what such a device would look like. The iPad Pro concept by Curved shows a tablet with a 12.9 inch display at 3K resolution. This looks like a huge version of the iPad Air. Whether we will ever see the iPad Pro is anybody’s guess though.
