We all know it was coming. There was a whole lot of buzz about the iPhone platform even before the device was released. But now with AOL joining the ranks of companies working to develop an advertising platform optimized for the iPhone, you can be sure that marketers and advertisers will be now working hard to grab the attention of millions of people who have the phones on their hands. AOL’s Platform-A will allow advertisers to target users who are visiting sites within Third Screen Media’s network in order to market or re-market products to them. I am personally more excited about the platform for mobile publishers. Anytime that you offer publishers another avenue to make money for their efforts, it makes for a good day. Here is the story.
