That seems to be the rumor on the net now. As you may have experienced in the past few days, iPhone has had numerous connection issues which now BusinessWeek confirms is a hardware issue and not software. The Infineon chip is the guilty part behind the connection issues that some of us have experienced this week. BusinessWeek does claim that Apple will attempt to fix the issue with a software update, but if it comes down to a hardware remedy, it will truly be a disaster. Let’s hope it doesn’t come down to that.
