iPod iPhone Sales Hit 37 M!

Apple has certainly gone to places with its iPod Touch and iPhone. But selling 37 million iPod Touches and iPhones is a remarkable achievement, even for Apple. There is no question that the iPhone SDK and iTunes app store have played a big part in helping these two great gadgets outclass their rivals in their respective markets. But here is some more bad news for Apple’s competitors. According to Apple COO, the company has no plans to slow down its train. He claimed that Apple will:
unleash a whole new level of innovation that keeps Apple years ahead of everyone else.
iPhone 3 SDK certainly provides developers with more options to develop more sophisticated apps for the iPhone platform. The problem for Apple’s competitor at this point is to find a strategy to slow down Apple. Companies have talked about how they want to come up with an iPhone killer, but in reality you can’t kill a device that has reached so many homes and has such an impressive platform to back it up. And it’s not as if Apple’s planning to close shop anytime soon.
