Tim Cook Hints At New Products, iWatch Team Gets Fitness Physiologists
0The iWatch is one of the worst kept secrets ever. Everyone knows that it is coming, but Apple officials simply have to dance around questions about it. The iPod may be already on its way out. Smartphones and tablets are bringing Apple a ton of money but the industry is changing. In his latest interview with the Wall Street Journal, Tim Cook again talked about how customers will see “really great stuff” from the company in the future. Tim Cook wants Apple to remain a growth company. If that is indeed the case, the time has come for Apple to get more aggressive with its wearables strategy.

That explains Apple’s recent hiring spree, which includes a sleep expert. Apple is also looking for a motion sensing expert and physiologists for further testing of its iWatch.
Analysts believe this fitness / sleep tracker will be available for $299 later this year. It could add up to $17.5B to Apple’s coffers in the first year. That’s why the company has to get this absolutely right.
