New iPhone Price Cut Is Coming?

Sources are claiming that a new iPhone price cut may be in the works soon. We all remember what happened the last time Apple tried to save its customers $200! Early Adopters got really upset with Apple and even the $100 gift certificates were not enough to make these guys satisfied. iPod Touches are also dropping in price. Amazon now has them for $269 and $359 and that includes a $20 express shipping for free. So a $50 price drop is not out of question on these.

iPhone As Camcorder

A hacker has managed to make a Camcorder out of an iPhone. This is a pretty impressive feat if you think about it. Of course, the quality of Video would be terrible at best on such camcorder but it is nevertheless a novel approach. But I would be even more impressed if someone made a shaver out of an iPhone. That way not only you will have your Phone, and iPod in your pocket, you can also shave yourself on your way to work. Now that is genius.

Voyager vs. iPhone

I don’t know if you guys have had the privilege of seeing the new anti-iPhone phone (Voyager) from Verizon. It looks awfully iPhone-wannabe but it does have a QWERTY keyboard and Verizon has been pushing the keyboard pretty hard as if iPhone users can’t get anything done with their devices. But I bet a savvy iPhone user can out-type a Voyager user whether he/she is using the QWERTY keyboard or the touch keyboard.  Have anyone actually tried this?

Will iPhone Blend?

I know most of you have seen this already, but the Will It Blend Series managed to show iPhone getting blended in a heavy duty blender. Check the iPhone video here. That is some marketing by these guys though. Sacrificing a then $599 iPhone to create this video was probably painful even too the crazy producers of these videos but imagine how many impressions they got by grinding down that iPhone.

iPhone To Pay The Price Of Mass Adoption

I know a lot of people like to just bash Windows for the terrible operating system that it has become, but a lot of problems that Windows users have experienced have been due to its popularity among desktop owners. Hackers tend to target mass adopted platforms and windows is certainly one. But how about iPhone? Surely it is immune to this kind of treatmen… ComputerWorld Reports that indeed 2008 could be a new window of opportunity for hackers to conquer this new platform. Cyber Crime is soon going to be heavily mobile and with people buying phones such as iPhone, hackers have many targets to consider. The good news is that Apple’s OS is in general more stable and secure than its Microsoft counterpart, but when push comes to shove, don’t expect your iPhone to magically keep your information secure.
