Pebble Watch Works with iPhone, CarrierCompare Compares Carriers

The makers are developing watchfaces for this watch to make it easier for owners to customize their experience. The watch supports notifications for emails, social media, weather, and other things. Flixel Creates Moving Images, AR Tsunami Camera Debuts

We have covered a few animated GIF creation tools for iPhone in the past. The Toronto-based company Flixel Photos has developed an app that makes creating moving images on your iOS device a piece of cake. While this can be done using Adobe products, the process is more simple with Flixel. The app brings portions of your pictures to life with a few swipes.

Futulele Ukulele App, Top iOS apps Revealed

In case you missed it, Apple has now delivered over 25b iOS app downloads. That is a staggering # of downloads and shows why iOS is going to be a dominant force in the mobile OS market for the foreseeable future. Apple announced the apps that topped its all-time charts already. Not surprisingly, Angry Birds is the most popular paid iPhone app of all time. Fruit Ninja, Doodle Jump, and Cut the Rope also made it to the top 5 list.

App Economy Creates 500,000 U.S. Jobs?

The state of economy in the U.S. is still volatile. The rate of unemployment has remained high in the past couple of years. It is safe to say this economy is not out of the woods yet. But the emergence of platforms such as iOS has helped create jobs in this country. There are thousands of applications available in the App Store and Android Market. Before the launch of the iPhone, not too many folks were talking about the app economy. A research sponsored by TechNet suggests that nearly half a million jobs have been created through apps.

Redesigned iPhone 5 in 2012, iOS Tops Android in App Revenue

The iPhone 4S has already been a very successful gadget for Apple. Even though the company did not deliver a drastically different iPhone (in design) this year, it did offer enough changes to make people want to buy iPhone 4S units.
