There are plenty of powerful LLMs around these days but not all of them give you the privacy you may want. Reins for Mac is a handy app that lets you access your self-hosed Ollama server from anywhere. You will be able to change system prompts for your conversations. You can also send and receive images through your chats.
This app is designed for hobbyists and AI enthusiasts in mind, so you can adjust temperature, context size, max tokens and other settings. You can select from Phi, Qwen, Gemma2, and other models. You can change models without exiting chats. This app is available as a free download.
