The Ark: Offline Survival Guide for iPhone
0
Getting stuck outdoors without a solid internet connection is not ideal. Your favorite AI is probably not going to work either. The good news is there are now offline AI tools and apps that can get you unstuck. Take the Ark for instance: it is an offline survival guide that has info on shelter building, water purification, animal safety and first aid. All of this works without an internet connection.
this guy vibe coded an AI SURVIVAL APP that works COMPLETELY OFFLINE
the app
> gives you survival advice completely offline
> cites exact pages from manuals stored on the device
> has offline maps so you’re never lost
> lets you text people up to 50 miles away with no cell… pic.twitter.com/bEvfGp2gnP— Om Patel (@om_patel5) March 15, 2026
These guys also have a physical device that works without a subscription. It is fully functional out of the box. The AI can provide sources for its answers, so you will know that it is not hallucinating. It is IP68 rated.
