The idea of using old smartphones and tablets as security cameras and smart home controllers is nothing new. Adriano aims to make it even easier. It lets you control devices with Zigbee, Z-Wave, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. It uses your phone’s computational power and encrypts your data to protect your privacy.
Adriano has motion sensors that detect break-ins to activate your smartphone’s camera. You can control this device with voice commands and gestures. Adriano works on a 4G/5G network. This project is currently on Indiegogo. Shipping is expected in July.
