Artificial Skin for Smartphones

💡Make your home smart with these Alexa enabled connected devices

Our smartphones are getting more powerful every year. In the future, they could be equipped with an artificial skin to support more complex interactions. Skin-On Interfaces explores such idea. A research project by Marc Teyssier, Gilles Bailly, Catherine Pelachaud, Eric Lecolinet, Andrew Conn and Anne Roudaut, this is all about adding skin-like input methods to phones.

This artificial skin has natural gesture detection. It enables back of device interaction. Users can control their music, apps, and games in new ways. You can find out more about this project here.
