There are plenty of fancy 3D printers on the market. The Bocusini happens to be an open source food printer that lets you print all kinds of food. It can print bakery, meat & dairy, vegetables, and other food products. It has a a heated food printing head mounted to a standard 3D printer.
To get started, just plug it in, drag & drop your favorite designs from Bocusini’s web platform, insert your food cartridge, and you are set. The system has an intuitive user interface for creating your own objects. All parts of this food printing system will be open source. Yet another interesting Kickstarter project.
