Meet the Chargeboard: a fun skateboard that produces energy for mobile devices when it is being used. Dealing with a phone with a discharged battery is not fun. Thanks to the Chargeboard, you can generate and store energy to charge your phone as you cruise. The Chargeboard has two dynamos in the rear axles that generate 6V each, which is then converted back to a 5V current and stored into a powerbank. You can connect your phone to Chargeboard’s dock to start charging it.
You do get a USB port to charge your other mobile devices. There is also an option to connect a music player to the external 3.5 audio jack to play audio through speakers. 1 hour of cruising gives you enough power to charge your phone. The docking station is compatible with iPhone 4/4s though. This interesting skateboard is on Kickstarter right now.
