Meet the Chatterbox: a smart speaker that your kids can build & program themselves. It is like an Amazon Alexa speaker but focuses on protecting your kids’ privacy. The speaker is made of recyclable chipboard and powered by a Raspberry Pi. Chatterbox can be taught new skills and programmed to respond to commands.
The Chatterbox app lets users build voice-activated skill by connecting LEGO-like blocks. Unlike Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, Chatterbox only becomes active when is big yellow button is pushed. This STEM kit is expected to ship in December.
