Chess has experienced a boom since the start of the pandemic. While many are used to playing online, some of us prefer playing on a physical board. The Chessnut Pro is a large connected chessboard that can connect to Lichess and Chess.com, allowing you to play against online opponents on a large wooden board. It is about the same size as the DGT boards used at top tournaments.
This 55cm chess board has 55x55mm squares. It shows the moves with LEDs but they stay invisible when you are thinking. The Chessnut Pro comes with automatic piece recognition, so it knows which piece you are picking up each turn. It also supports Chess960.
The official app is available for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. This board also works with WhitePawn and various other apps that support Bluetooth boards. The Chessnut Pro not only records your moves but also lets you analyze it with a strong engine.
