Meet the Erle-Spider: a 6-legged robot powered by ROS that can teach you a thing or two about robots. It has a Snappy Ubuntu Core, Bluetooth, and a battery life of 45 minutes. The robot features 18 degrees of freedom. There is also an app store available for the robot for custom behaviors. The companion app lets you control the robot from your smart device.
