Robot vacuums and mops are getting smarter all the time. The latest models can map your home, avoid obstacles, and detect carpet. Take the EZVIZ RS2 for instance: it is a voice controlled robot vacuum and mop that you can control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It has a 3K camera for human and pet detection.
This robot has a large battery and can clean up to 300m2 of space. It has carpet detection, so it automatically detaches mod pads and switches to vacuum-only mode. It has a suction boost mode to get rid of stubborn dust and pet hair. For advanced navigation, the RS2 relies on a D-ToF LiDAR, 3D structured laser, and an AI RGB camera. The companion app shows you a live view of your home.
