Having to let your pets in and out manually all the time can get a bit tiresome. Thanks to the FacePaw pet door, you can let your pets roam around freely. It comes with face and foreign object detection. This smart electric pet door is designed to slide onto your existing pet door in seconds. It has advanced cat face recognition, so you don’t need to use Bluetooth tags. The companion app lets you adjust recognition permissions and schedule entry and exit times.
This pet door also has a fill light that turns on in low light conditions for better accuracy. FacePaw will be available in two sizes to accommodate small cats and dogs. While it has app control, you also get buttons on it when you don’t have your phone around. FacePaw has a weatherproof seal. You can find this project on Kickstarter.
