Lockitron Bolt: Unlock Your Door with Your Smartphone

Smartphone-compatible door locks are nothing new. They are designed to make it easier to unlock your smart home using a smartphone. The Lockitron Bolt is another smart door lock that lets you lock or unlock your door by simply walking up to it with your phone in your pocket. Bolt has a smaller, more elegant design in comparison to its predecessor. It also offers better battery life as well as useful features such as access sharing, activity logging, and Sense.

Bolt is Bluetooth enabled, but there is a WiFi module available for it as well. With Sense, you can unlock your door automatically when you get home. With Bridge, you can see if your door is locked when you are gone. You get a notification when your door is unlocked. The production of Bolt is slated late Spring, 2015.
