Meet the Maicat: a smart home robot that makes it easier to monitor your home. It learns and adapts to your home with adaptive AI and reinforcement learning. It features advanced navigation with object detection. This robot roams your home freely and keeps an eye on things that you should know about.
The Maicat expresses itself through its two OLED eyes and speaker. It has a camera below its nose and a microphone below its ear. The Maicat app lets you change name, eye color, and other settings. You will also be able to view a livestream of your home. This robot runs on Linux and supports ROS2 and OpenCV for development. This project is getting funded on Kickstarter. Backers will get access to the GitHub repository for this project.
