Plenty of YouTubers use overhead shots when unboxing products or teaching their viewers new skills. The NEEWER ST100 is an overhead rig for iPhone and regular cameras designed for these types of videos. It has a steel construction and can handle up to 10lbs of load. You can attach monitors, arms, and all kinds of other accessories to it.
This overhead camera rig has 14 height positions (from 24 to 39 inches) and 12 mounting points. You can fit this on desks wider than 39 inches. You also get L brackets and clips to attach a backdrop. The non-slip base stays put as you set up your camera and film.
