Meet the OrCam MyEye: a smart camera that mounts to glasses to identify objects / faces and read text. It communicates with the wearer through a bone conduction headphone. Users will be able to rely on this device to read newspapers, books, labels or content on their computer or smartphone.

MyEye allows the wearer to identify friends and family members as they enter the camera view. It can even read red or green lights at crossings. More information is available here.
