Here is a smart dock that can sync and charge up to 16 smartphones in their cases. The UniDock-16 can be adjusted to accommodate new smartphone models. It can be retrofitted with Lightning, USB-C, and micro-USB connectors. It not only has LED status indicators for each slot but has a LiveView software to let you monitor to status of your devices.
You can daisy-chain these docks to a single sync host. An open API is available for programming and remote management of connected devices. The UniDock -16 comes with a 320W power supply.
