Here is a Bluetooth connected laser distance meter that lets you measure distances efficiently. The VH-80SE uses two pulses of laser going in opposite directions to calculate distances between two points. It can take 3 measurements per action (left, right and total) and has a measurement range of 262ft.
The VH-80SE has 5 auto calculation modes, including continuous, area, volume, Pythagorean equation modes. The companion app lets you set direction, unit, and change other settings. The device can give you a reading in 0.3 to 3sec.
