How to: Build Your Own Portable Apple Watch Charger

In the past couple of weeks, we have seen a bunch of portable, wireless chargers for the Apple Watch on crowdfunding websites. If you are passionate about DIY electronics projects, you could always build your own Apple Watch battery extender. Adafruit.com has put up a video that shows you how to do just that:

This portable wireless charger works for Qi compatible devices like the Apple Watch. You are going to need a Adafruit Powerboost 1000C, 2000mAh lipo battery, and a 3D printed enclosure to get started. The instructions and parts list are available on adafruit’s website.
