Getting stuck outdoors without a way to recharge your smartphone is not ideal. You can always rely on solar phone chargers but they have certain limitations. For example, they can’t do the job at night or when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Smartphone wind chargers are another option to consider if you are going to visit a windy location. Here are 4 iPhone wind chargers you shouldn’t miss:

Shine Turbine: a 3lbs turbine that you can fit in your backpack. It has a built-in 12000mAh battery that stores energy. It works in 8 to 28mp winds. It is about the size of a 1000ml bottle.
Waterlily: a portable power generator that lets you charge your phone day or night. You can use it with your canoe, kayak, or sailboat. It also works on windy days. It has a USB connector with 15W power. You can attach two or more units in parallel to generate more power.
