Color scanners have come a long way over the years. They can now combine with smartphones to make capturing and analyzing colors a lot more convenient. Here are 5 app smart color meters and scanners you don’t want to miss:
Illuminati IM150: a wireless light and color meter for iOS and Android devices. It shows light and color temperature measurements from any light source and can help with setting proper exposure for your camera.
Nix QC Color Sensor: a smart color sensor that can remove human error from evaluating colors and achieving color consistency in your products. A bunch of accessories are available for scanning liquids, powders, and fabrics.
Color Muse: an app smart color matching tool with iOS and Android support. It captures colors from objects around you and lets you match them to products that you need. Its companion app shows sRGB, LCH, and other color data and lets you compare colors.
Scribble Pen: a smart pen that can draw in any color. It has a built-in color sensor and multiple drawing tips. Its ink cartridge connects to a mixer and dispenser to exactly recreate the colors you have scanned.
Cube: a portable color digitizer that fits in your hand and can capture the color of any surface. It can link to Adobe Photoshop to match your colors to Photoshop’s palettes. You will be able to view colors in RGB, Hex, CMYK, and LRV.
