Apple may be very successful in the consumer business but it always has something for the education world. It is no secret that iMacs make great computers for schools and students. But top of the line iMacs could be an overkill for educational institutions. As 9to5 Mac reports, Apple is planning to bring a cheaper iMac to the market for volume customers.

Apple has had a ton of success with the iPad since its launch. It has sold a ton of these tablets already while keeping its competitors in their place. HP TouchPad seems to be the latest iPad competitor that is failing to gain the attention of tablet lovers. HP launched the device just a short while ago but has been forced to offer deep discounts to generate interest in this device. A 4G version of HP TouchPad which has surfaced on Amazon is not expected to change anything.
Will Apple competitors have a chance to compete with the iPad? According to Needham analyst Charlie Wolf, things do not like that promising for them with Apple poised to hold on to 60% of the tablet market by 2020.
