MMS

We are only a couple of days away from the official release of iPhone 3G S. It will be available in stores on June 19th, and if you are planning to purchase on, you better take time to get yourself familiar withwhat AT&T has to offer in regards to iPhone 3G S. If you already own an iPhone 3G and have had your phone for less than a year, you are going to have to pay an extra $200 upgrade fee. Add to that $199 or $299 (depending on the iPhone you choose), and you are already out $400-500. Here is a table that demonstrates just that:

But that’s not all. You do have to pay a fee for your wireless service as well, which will set you back by at least $70 a month. If you are a big talker, you probably want those more expensive plans that give you more Anytime Minutes.

Texting will cost you $5 per 200 messages or $20 for unlimited messages. The good news is that MMS is included for free with your service. The bad news is your bill is going to be huge by the time you are done choosing your phone and the proper wireless plan for it. And good luck finding iPhone 3G S in stores as AT&T is already running out of phones. When you listen to all the commercials on TV in regards to iPhone, you may think it’s a cheap gadget. In reality, it’s going to cost you a hand and a leg to get your hands on it. And for some, it’s well worth it.
