If the “Death Grip” issue is not too big of a headache to deal with for iPhone 4 owners, they may want to keep a close eye on their USB port too. If you are unlucky enough to have an iPhone 4 with a defective port, you may end up with a fried iPhone. Fortunately, this is probably not a widespread issue, or we would have heard about all the pending lawsuits already. Needless to say, iPhone 4 owner need to watch out if their phones heats up in an unusual fashion.
Apple has a bigger issue to deal with in iPhone 4’s death grip. The company felt “stunned” about all the complaints just a few days ago. It is planning to introduce a software patch to address iPhone’s reception issues. Unfortunately, there is only so much one can do with a piece of software when it’s the hardware that is faulty.
iPhone has some speed issues too. While Alcatel Lucent is tackling this problem, the whole experience has not been “magical” for a lot first of iPhone owners. As is the case with all new devices, iPhone 4 was always going to have issues. The way Apple handled some of these issues has probably added some fuel to the fire. Let’s hope Apple does a better job with the next generation iPod Touch.
