Google Play Movies & TV for iOS, Hackintosh from a Trash Can
0You don’t need to have an Android device to appreciate Google Movies & TV. Movie lovers can now access their favorite Google content on their iOS device. Google Play Movies & TV which has just been introduced allows users to watch shows on their iPhone or iPad. You can buy and rent movies on your computer and watch it from any iOS device over WiFi.
Streaming video only works over WiFi at this time. Also don’t forget that TV shows are available in the U.S., Japan, and United kingdom. This is a universal app, so you don’t have to wait for the iPad version. Have a Chromecast? Use that one to watch shows and movies on your HDTV. To be honest, I am not sure this app is that useful. It has major shortcomings, including the fact that you can’t buy movies and shows on it yet. Let’s hope this gets a whole lot better soon.
The new Mac Pro machines are a beast. Unfortunately, they burn a big hole in your pocket, especially if you need a machine with the best components. A German case modder has decided that it may be a better idea to make a Hakintosh Pro out of a trash can. I still remember the trash can jokes about the new Mac Pro before it was released. Now it’s not a joke anymore.
The exterior is an Authentics Lunar 6L trash can with a Haswell i3 processor, a Radeon 7750, hard drive, and a Gigabyte Mini ITX motherboard inside. This machine won’t outperform the real thing but we have to give it up for the modder for the creativity here.
