IFTTT happens to be one of our favorite productivity services. It is a simple but powerful service that lets you connect two services and automate certain tasks. For instance, you can automate the process of sending your photos to Dropbox or track RSS feeds with it. There are so many fun IFTTT recipes to play around with to get all kinds of tasks done. IFTTT is now available for iPhone. It adds support for things like contacts and photos.
With IFTTT installed, you can send your photos automatically to Dropbox or other cloud storage services. You can create your own recipes and choose from the ones that others have come up with already. Keep in mind that this is the first version of the app, so we expect more services to be supported in the future.
Apple devices are known for their decent battery lives. Whether you own a MacBook or iPad, you don’t have to charge your device every couple of hours. Apple is always looking to improve in this area though. That’s why the company may be looking to adopt IGZO displays to offer even longer battery life on its tablets and laptops. IGZO displays allow for higher resolution screens that consume less power. We will most likely have to wait till 2014 to see this change.
