iOS 7.1 Personal Hotspot Issue, Flappy Bird Returning?

iOS 7.1 was supposed to have fixed various performance issues for iDevice users. While it has done that for the most part, it seems to have introduced a few new bugs. People are now complaining about battery life and other annoying issues on their iOS 7.1 device. The latest complaint seems to be about personal hotspots. Some users can’t seem to be able to save APN settings.

To be clear, you can enter your information but might get an error when you are ready to establish a connection.

Since I updated to iOS 7.1 I can’t set APN setttings for Personal Hotspot in my iPhone. If I go to Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Settings, and I set the APNs(for data+mms) and i go back to save the freshly set APN settings then it saves, but if I touch any fields in the “Personal Hotspot” section (even focusing) and I go back the same way any changed value won’t save

Apple has not issued a comment on this, but its support forum is filled with folks complaining about this issue. Just to show you an example, user psychoo118 had the above comments to share. When Apple responds is anybody’s guess.

Speaking of iOS devices, it seems Flappy Bird is finally coming back. We are still not sure what was the main reason for the developer removing his game from the App Store. The excuse provided simply did not make sense to us. Developer Dong Nguyen is now warming up to the idea of bringing the title back. Of course, we have seen a ton of clones and fake Flappy Bird apps since the original game was removed.

Nguyen claims the game would warn users to take a break if it did come back. We are still not buying the explanation as Flappy Bird is not the only ultra-addictive game on the App Store. Whether it will be as popular as it was before remains to be seen.
