We hear all kinds of rumors about Apple products every week. It is clear by now that Apple will be releasing its own smartwatch later this year. But we don’t know how much it will cost or what the final design will look like. Based on the recent information on Healthbook, it is not hard to guess what the device will have to offer. Healthbook, which is expected to be unveiled in June, will track heart rate, hydration, activity, blood sugar, sleep, and everything in between.
Healthbook is the complete health tracking package for iOS. Apple is testing the software with iOS 8. Whether it will work with other health trackers is not known, but it would be surprising if it doesn’t. Apple has been hiring various experts for its iWatch project. It simply can’t afford to get its first smartwatch wrong. We should know a whole lot more about the device by June.
Apple has been selling the old iPad 2 for a long time. It’s about time that device died and got replaced with something faster. It’s good to see that Apple has brought back the iPad 4 to replace it. You can get a 4th generation iPad for $399 at the time of this writing (with 16 GB storage space). The WiFi + Cellular version is available for $529. This may not seem important but with iPad 2 dying, all Apple iPads are now using the Lightning port. With a cheaper iPhone 5c debuting in Europe, iPhone 4s could also be on its way out.
