Morgan Stanley’s analyst Katy Huberty has suggested that the next generation iPhone could debut in the third quarter of 2012. Its quad-mode chip will make it compatible with all flavors of 3G and LTE networks.
The next generation iPad is also rumored to offer LTE support. The device, which is expected to make its debut in March, will have a high-definition screen with a faster quad core processor. Apple is planning to bring LTE support to the iPad because the device has a larger battery and can better handle the power requirements of this technology.
