The iPhone 6s is expected to debut later this year with an improved dual-lens camera. Even before the iPhone 6 was released, there were rumors that the iPhone 6s would have a heavily upgraded camera system. As Apple Insider has reported, the new iPhone’s camera will offer optical zooming capabilities and better low-light performance. The iPhone 6 Plus already has a decent camera with optical image stabilization and excellent performance, so this piece news from UDN is going to encourage more folks to upgrade their phone later this year.
Speaking of new products, Apple could be working on a GoPro like remote-controlled action camera. The company has been granted a patent for a device like that. The device could have various camera sensors to offer better video coverage from multiple directions in comparison to existing solutions. An underwater microphone is expected to be included. We have no evidence that Apple will introduce such a device this year though.
