Apple is already planning to release new iPhones, iPads, and Macs to the market later this year. The iPhone 5S is going to have a faster processor, a slightly improved design, and better hardware in general. But where does Apple go from here? One expert thinks Apple could approach an iPod-like strategy for the iPhone brand, releasing variants of iPhones in the upcoming years.
According to ex-Apple marketing guru Ken Segall, Apple could offer shoppers iPhones in more colors. A budget iPhone will most likely be released in 2013 but various other iPhones could be released in the upcoming years. The next generation iPhone could have a larger display too, even though Tim Cook is has poured cold water on that idea once. Offering more colorful iPhones is not a terrible idea. It could breathe new life into this brand and help Apple generate more momentum for its products. Will this happen in 2013? That remains to be seen.
Speaking of the iPhone, Luna is a pretty neat jailbreak tweak for those of you who would like to put your phone in the Do Not Disturb mode fast. Your smartphone already gives you this capability. But Luna makes the process even faster. It lets you enable Do Not Disturb from iPhone’s lockscreen by pulling down on time. Luna is now available in Cydia for $2.
