The iPhone is the ultimate toy for kids and adults. Not only they have plenty of apps to play on this device, iPhone owners can use it to operate RC toys. iW500 is not your average toy though. It is a RC car that climbs walls. It can be controlled through an iOS device. As iHelicopter explains, the iPhone Controlled Wall Climbing Car iW500 creates a sealed vacuum between itself and the wall/ceiling it is on:
the opposite principle of the hovercraft and creates a sealed vacuum between itself and the wall or ceiling… you can drive up, down, left and right without falling off. You can even drive on the underside of tables and ceilings if the surface is smooth enough.
This little toy is more than capable of just climbing walls. Owners can use it to race others. Turning the vacuum feature off is all it takes to start racing on the ground. A free controller app is available for this toy in the App Store. Once its IR transmitter is connected into the dock connector, this toy is ready to rock.
Since the app works with 3 bands, it gives 3 iW500 owners the chance to race against one another. This RC car will cost you just under $60. It is available in two colors at this point. The Wall Climbing Car looks like an entertaining toy. We wonder if there will be any spare parts available for this wall climbing car in the future.
