The iWatch has many folks excited already. Even though studies have shown that people get tired of their wearable devices fast, folks still want to figure out what Apple is up to. The latest report from China Times is now suggesting that Apple will use flexible displays from TPK to build the iWatch.
As DigiTimes reports, the iWatch will be equipped with a flexible AMOLED display and 3D protective glass. It will use silver nanowire touchscreen technology developed by TPK in conjunction with Japan-based Nissha Printing. Of course, this is just a rumor. Apple could go in many different directions with this project.
Speaking of Apple, there have been many rumors about the company being genuinely interested in making an iCar. That may or may not happen, but could Apple form a partnership or outright acquire Tesla? Tesla and Apple have held talks as Tesla CEO Elon Musk has admitted. In fact, he did not completely rule out the possibility of working with a larger company to produce better cars. It just seems a bit unlikely for this acquisition to happen at this time.
