We are going to hear a lot more about the iWatch in the upcoming months. It is a very important product for Apple’s future. We have already heard rumors about the iWatch being a sleep tracker and heart rate monitor. The latest claim, this time by Blayne Curtis, an analyst at Barclays, suggests that the upcoming iWatch will have UV exposure sensors to help wearers avoid sunburn.
This is not a crazy claim since there are already standalone UV exposure trackers available on the market. It would make sense for Apple to add this feature to the iWatch. But then again, we need to look at other design elements to see how this fits in the big picture. Curtis suggests these UV exposure sensors will be made by Silicon Labs in Texas. It remains to be seen what else the iWatch will offer.
Speaking of new products, Adobe has now made Lightroom Mobile available for iPad. Those who have a subscription to the Creative Cloud and Photoshop will be able to take advantage of this mobile app. Adobe Lightroom Mobile won’t be replacing its desktop version. The app automatically syncs photos and lets Adobe subscribers to make certain edits on their devices. An iPhone version of the app is already in the works while Android users will have to wait a bit to get this.
